In April, 2008, Operation Inasmuch events were conducted simultaneously by 990 churches in North Carolina.  There were Inasmuch events in all 100 counties of the state.  This mega-event was the result of a collaboration between Operation Inasmuch, Inc. and the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina which included two years of planning, promotion and training. 

   "This was the boldest event of its kind ever undertaken," says David Crocker, Exec. Dir. of Operation Inasmuch.  "There has never before been such saturation and widespread, hands-on ministry conducted in a simultaneous way."

    The best estimates of the results of this statewide Inasmuch are that . . .

• 990 churches were involved
• about 40,000 people participated
• about 5,000 compassion ministry projects were conducted
• about 300,000 people were served
• 242 people made decisions to follow Christ as a direct result of these ministry projects
