In the fall of 2006 Operation Inasmuch was piloted as a community ministry project at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN.  300 students participated in about 2 dozen projects.  By all accounts it was a huge success.  The Campus Ministry of Carson-Newman has repeated their use of Inasmuch to impact their community in 2007 and 2008 with 530 students involved in '08.  For a video report of their initial experience click here.

Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC, conducted their first Inasmuch in the spring of 2008.  Campus Minister Faithe Beam reports:

"Nearly 350 students, faculty, and staff gathered in April, 2008, for service to our community.  Our projects included:  landscaping, painting, visiting local nursing care facilities, minor home repairs, building a wheelchair ramp, sorting and organizing at local rescue ministries, cleaning and landscaping at a local youth camp and children's home, and work at the local animal rescue facility.  Operation Inasmuch was an effort that allowed our students, faculty and staff to come together for the purpose of fulfilling Jesus' charge to love God and love people.  This day of service made our campus community more aware of the needs so close.  Opportunities for service have grown because of our experiences with Inasmuch.  We are currently exploring ways to reach out to children in need in our county as a result of our experiences with Inasmuch.  And, we are already planning for Inasmuch in 2009."
